Harris Resolv is looking for an exceptional talent to become an integral member of our Professional Services team as a Junior Business Intelligence Developer. In this role, you will focus on three areas: Data Analytics, Data Visualizations and Data Integration.
What your impact will be:
Work with our Technical Business Analysts, customers & data source system experts to understand reporting needs, underlying source data and associated business rules
Using ETL tools and/or SQL, develop data extract routines from a variety of disparate data sources and conform them to the Harris Resolv Data Integration Template format
Develop data visualizations using a variety of applications such as AWS QuickSight, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, and others.
Participate in functional and technical design sessions
Gather end-user requirements for data dissemination and reporting
Use various applications to analyze source system data and identify data quality issues and anomalies that will need to be corrected and/or handled in ETL routines
Execute testing of our software
Analyze and communicate test results and advancement
Log and verify defects
Work with partners and third parties on troubleshooting and analyzing issues
Identify opportunities for improving QA processes in place and suggest solutions
Work as key member of R&D team to analyze and program changes in product suite
Maintain development deadlines and provide accurate estimates
Analyze and troubleshoot product stability issues reported by clients
Follow functional/technical specifications and work with Business Analysts to ensure delivered products meet specifications
Assist Professional Services/Support staff as required with investigations of technical issues
What we are looking for:
Proficient in SQL
Complete or progressing in an AA or a BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field
Willingness and ability to learn new tools and concepts
Experience with Data Integration concepts and development using Microsoft SSIS, AWS Glue/Databrew, Python or others
Experience with AWS Quicksight, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or other business intelligence platforms.
Experience with AWS or Azure cloud-hosted applications
Attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Proficient in MS Office
Experience using test management tools
Understanding of APIs
