POSITION SUMMARY

This position will provide strategic and tactical direction to one or more teams within the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)- Divisional department. The Director will be flexible and have the ability to integrate multiple and very different lines of business into their sphere of responsibility. The Director will have the ability to dive deep into issues to support resolution, and also work at a strategic level. This position will be responsible for leading RCM activities to include Billing (both invoice and claims), Collections, HIM (health information management) functions, Revenue Integrity auditing, Charge master management, medical claims management (including denials and appeals operations), cash application and other various other back-office functions. This leader will be the primary point of contact for senior leadership for RCM. The leader should be adaptable and act as a change agent for the department.

The leader will develop, monitor, and maintain KPI's that report the health of their team(s) and that the reporting provides actionable data. The Director will work cross functionally to proactively address issues, solution for the future state, and assess process changes the make RCM operations more effective and efficient and ensure that productivity is maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Finance, Business Management required.
  
  


• Master's degree in Healthcare, Finance, Business Management preferred.
  
  


• 7+ years' experience in Revenue Cycle Management for organizations with revenue of $150M+.
  
  


• RCM experience preferred in the Healthcare setting (i.e. insurer, hospital, health system, etc...)
  
  


• Medical Claims management experience, to include working knowledge of medical billing rules and regulations.
  
  


• Strong leadership skills with the ability collaborate and stakeholder across multiple disciplines within the organization.
  
  


• A demonstrated track-record of process improvement.
  
  


• Have an executive presence; both internally and externally. Ability to gain trust of peers, staff, and sr. leaders.
  
  


• Ability to motivate, cultivate, and model a best in class organizational culture.
