The role:
As a Kids Club Program Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct supervision and appropriate planned activities for participants. You will coordinate activities with other staff and volunteers to assure the maximum amount of supervision. Other duties include following schedules, record keeping, and tutoring in order to help make the experience worthwhile for the participants.

What you will need:

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Previous experience with supervising children is a plus.
Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification within three months of hire.
An associate's degree in child development, education, or related field is preferred.

What you will do:

Directly supervise children in the Kids Club Program and coordinates with community resources scheduled to provide recreational and educational activities for participants..
Help to plan and implement the activities of Kids Club which focus on meeting goals and objectives for each group.
Help prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
Provide all-day programming for full school length days during the school year and during winter and spring breaks.
Complete incident reports as necessary.
Maintain a clean facility, equipment, and supplies.
Maintain good working relationships with school personnel, janitors, secretaries, and parents.
Record behavior and participation of each child in the program and help to evaluate progress.
Other duties as assigned.
