As a Plant Manager , you will provide operational management for a paint-application facility within the Coatings Services business. You will be responsible for establishing and implementing plans to meet corporate wide objectives; as well as communicating vision for long-term success to plant personnel of the Cedar Falls, IA plant. Key Responsibilities
Drives the overall Safety Culture within the facility that engages the entire workforce
Tracks financial data to ensure budgets and Profit and Loss goals meet plan.
Prepares, provides, and presents financial data on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Ensures monthly metrics (safety, quality, productivity) are met or adequate actions are in place to ensure goals will be met.
Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
Maintains a customer relationship that ensures quality, service and pricing criteria are to the customer's satisfaction.
Works in conjunction with Human Resources to develop and maintain a highly motivated team, handle disciplinary issues, and assists with hiring of key positions.
Promotes continuous improvement objectives and development of the plant.
Leads several subordinate managers and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university required, master's degree preferred; and five years related experience and/or training.
Strong determination for action and an ability to build and implement initiatives to drive performance improvement, providing examples of tangible results.
Proven leadership experience in a lean manufacturing setting creating a positive, professional, team environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred
