Martin Bros. Distributing is seeking a Digital and Communications Strategist to champion to the day-to-day management of Martin Bros. digital channels as well as offer content writing support for key company initiatives. This individual will engage in copywriting, strategy development, scheduling, posting, creating native content, monitoring sentiment and trends and managing follower feedback. They will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that all pieces align with Martin Bros. culture and core values, safety guidelines, and voice.
The Digital & Communications Strategist should be collaborative, creative, data-driven, and highly organized, with a strong understanding of all digital platforms and current social media trends. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be proactive, a strong team player, and possess excellent communication skills. The ability to adapt to processes, meet deadlines, and work with multiple stakeholders across the Martin Bros. organization is key.
Responsibilities:
Aid in the development of social strategy as it relates to messaging, engagement, and content performance. Engage in day-to-day copywriting, scheduling, posting, and monitoring of Martin Bros. social platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok. Support Martin Bros. internal social and communication needs to strengthen employee retention.Develop & implement strategies to support our customers in achieving their objectives and support the retention and longevity of our operators through guidance, best practices and discussion.

Ability to maintain a consistent and appropriate brand voice.Strong writing and organizational skills, and experience with project management.Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to execute multiple initiatives and the same timeMust be able to manage the pressures and stress associated with a fast-paced, deadline-oriented atmosphere.Exceptional & effective communication both written and verbal. Experience building and sustaining collaborative working relationships with a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds, and demonstrated sensitivity to cross-cultural perspectives and experiences.Strong presentation skills Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and meet deadlines.Technologically immersed and proficient with a variety of applications to include but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot, Microsoft Suite
Education:
Bachelors degree (B.A.) from college or university; and 1-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer a B.A. degree in the areas of marketing, digital technologies, or communications.
