Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Anticipates the executive’s needs; proactively follows up, researches, and furnishes additional information on issues.

  • Prepares reports and gathers, summarizes, and analyzes data requiring the use of multiple software applications and office technology.

  • Provides support and required materials for exams, reviews, and audits.

  • Provides support and expertise for specialized projects.

  • Maintains and organizes the Online Library.

  • Upon receiving approved changes, updates bank manuals using specialized software.

  • Creates organizational charts for management and human resources.

  • Coordinates communications with the bank’s insurance broker; coordinates insurance policy renewals; and files insurance claims.

  • Administers programs for customers’ high-balance secured accounts.

  • Organizes and maintains correspondence, requests, and records, following up on pending matters with limited direction.

  • Maintains and prioritizes schedules.

  • Provides clerical and administrative support to include opening/sorting mail; preparing and filing correspondence, notes, minutes, and reports; coordinating travel arrangements; and scheduling and coordinating logistics for meetings, etc.

  • Provides administrative support in all areas of related tasks.

  • Performs all job duties to ensure compliance with all applicable acts, laws, and regulations.


Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Under the direction of the department head, may provide support to other departments.


Qualifications Required


(Required education may be satisfied by experience and/or working knowledge.)


A high school diploma or equivalent. Three years experience as an administrative or executive assistant or three years of banking experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and the use of the internet.


Physical Requirements and Working Conditions


Sitting for extended periods of time, requires close visual acuity and the ability to work and operate computer applications and equipment including copy machine, telephone, scanner, or other basic business equipment. Some infrequent travel is required for branch/department visitations. The job is within the normal office environment range.


Qualifications Preferred


An Associate’s degree or two years of college. Five years experience as an administrative or executive assistant and three years of banking experience. A good working knowledge of other software solutions commonly used in the office environment. Ability to write meeting minutes.
