Oper, Data Entry II - m-f 8 am - 5 pm


Basic Purpose:

Operates a data entry device to key a variety of business and statistical source data into a computer. Responsible for both speed and accuracy of work. Exercises more independent judgment and may check the work of the more junior enterers.


Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Inputs various data into specified computer system with limited judgment.

2. May verify the work of other data entry operators.

3. Prepares and maintains records for status reports.

4. May handle the more complex, less routine data entry assignments.

5. May provide guidance and training to lower level operators.


Qualifications:

1. Education Preferred: HS

2. Work Experience: 0 to 1 year
