Job Description:

With the growth of acquisition activity in North America, ERM has an open position for an experienced HR professional to help drive and execute HR activities towards successful integration of North America acquired companies.

As a member of the North America HR team, working closely with HR colleagues, Integration teams and the acquired firm’s leadership.  This role will integrate newly acquired organizations into ERM.  This is a “hands on” position that requires strong attention to detail, excellent project management skills and HR integration experience.  Each integration is unique, with varying levels of complexity, that require a high degree of specificity, customer service and critical thinking when problem solving.

Responsibilities


  • Support HR integration planning and execution.

  • Assist with developing and maintaining project plans for implementation.

  • Ensure project milestones are achieved through collaboration and effective communication, including:

    • Support HR due diligence for North America acquisitions by producing due diligence reports and related exhibits.

    • Analyze target company DD data identifying key HR-related exposures, including but not limited to retirement plans, employment agreements, active health, welfare and risk benefits, compensation, work authorization, employment litigation, DE&I, staffing and regional employment protection regulations.

    • HR data management - upload to and maintenance in Workday

    • Compliance with training and employment contracts

    • Compensation and benefit harmonization

    • Post integration activities



  • Continually strive and drive for integration process improvements.

  • Maintain current documentation on integration practices and playbooks to support growth of the acquired business and increase in NA integrations.

Requirements Skills/Experience:


  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong project management skills

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-pasted environment, and to juggle several projects with a spirit of flexibility and positive outlook

  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written

Qualifications:


  • 2 + years relevant work experience in two or more of the following HR functions: HR Business Partner, HR Operations, Compensation, Benefits or Payroll

  • 1 year project management experience

  • Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

  • Basic understanding of US and/or Canadian specific HR employment requirements and benefits

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or 8 plus years equivalent experience.
