Job Description:

Central Delaware's largest healthcare system has an exciting opportunity for a Contract Respiratory Therapist!

The Contract Respiratory Therapist will join a team of professionals dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and services.  By becoming a member of this magnet-recognized team, the Interim Respiratory Therapist will practice in a Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval facility surrounded by energetic and supportive practitioners.  This acute-care hospital has over 300 beds and provides a multitude of services.

Since the acute-care facility is continuing to rapidly grow, CONTRACT Respiratory Therapists are needed to help with the large patient caseloads. Clinical Management Consultants will offer the CONTRACT Respiratory Therapist comprehensive benefits including a competitive wage, PTO, Medical insurance ,sick days and more. Minimum/Preferred Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Respiratory Care with an Associate of Science degree required.  Bachelor of Science degree is preferred.

Experience: 6 months experience preferred.

Certification/License: Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), Delaware license to practice Respiratory Care, and current BCLS Certification required.  If not currently held, NRP and ACLS Certifications are to be obtained within 9 months of obtaining employment.

Computer/Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel applications, keyboarding skills, and the ability to utilize order entry systems.  Experience using computer software applications to document patient therapies and/or treatments.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal, reasoning, and time management/ organizational skills
