Business Development Specialist at Mindful Health Solutions

Mindful Health Solutions is seeking a self-motivated, Practice Development/Business Development leader to shepherd our field marketing outreach strategy, initiatives, and team. You will be responsible for developing and fostering productive community relationships with licensed behavioral health therapists, psychologists and physicians who care for patients suffering from various mood disorders.

 

Responsibilities

  • Partner and collaborate with the MHS Medical Director of Practice Development
  • Develop effective outreach strategy to build awareness of the services offered by our medical practice including TMS therapy and esketamine
  • Develop deep knowledge of the patient referral process and the MHS Depression Care Pathway and articulate proficiently with referral sources, including benefits, efficacy, impact with Rx, insurance coverage, indications, etc
  • Facilitate peer-to-peer sessions between Mindful Health Solutions’ psychiatrists and referring practitioners through open houses, lunch & learns, CME activities, patient education groups, and other points of connection
  • Define & establish lines of communication between referring practices and our medical group
  • Along with the operations and marketing team, organize local events to attract potential patients and referral sources to participate in education sessions sponsored by the Company
  • Participate in local professional networking meetings and events that are relevant to referral development, including trade show exhibition
  • Distribute prescribing info and related data to physicians and therapists
  • Develop and implement plans of action for targeted physicians and select institutions
  • Keep current on changes that are taking place in the local marketplace
  • Conduct regularly scheduled visits to current and prospective referral source offices
  • Pre-plan and arrange the required number of outreach and follow-up calls per day
  • Utilize CRM to plan, implement and evaluate outreach campaigns
  • Consistently identify referral pattern changes and implement new tactics to grow referrals and/or address referral source slow down
  • Create and frequently review marketing plans to ensure that specific marketing goals and objectives are attained
  • Assist in the development of the marketing and outreach budget to achieve financial targets

Requirements

  • 5 + years previous community relations experience within healthcare environment, behavioral healthcare background preferred. Key focus on premier patient/consumer experience essential
  • BA/BS degree required in marketing, business, or related field required
  • Prior experience leading, motivating and developing a team preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Consistent performance record of exceeding established goals/objectives
  • Must possess a valid US driver’s license and clean driving history
  • Must be willing to travel frequently within the assigned territory
  • High degree of computer literacy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience working with CRMs
