The Travel, Hospitability and Leisure (THL) practice provides clients with solutions to complex business issues in the key areas of large-scale transformation and restructuring, pre-deal commercial and operational M&A advice, post-merger integration, carve-out, 100-day improvement plan, quantified EBITDA / cash improvements, comprehensive bottom-up assessment, market strategy, feasibility studies and, interim leadership. The team brings unrivalled experience from both in-industry leadership roles and advisory roles, and works hand-in-hand with sector experts in related A&M expert Practices, such as Tax and Financial Due Diligence (TAG), as one team for clients.

Our team of senior professionals have not just capabilities as advisors but in many cases also a proven and successful track record as a senior level executive in operational roles. The Opportunity

The opportunity to bring your leadership skills and expertise to shape and grow the future of the dynamic THL team in A&M. You will be based out of our Paris office but be part of the pan-EMEA practice and delivering EMEA agenda and projects.

At Director level, we are looking for senior managers and operators who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and lead the change agenda within the Hotel and Hospitality industries. As a Director, you will be responsible in shaping and leading change and transformation for the client. You will not only play a role as a sector expert for clients but also will have the opportunity to directly lead or grow-to-lead projects across Corporate, Private Equity and Restructuring situations.

Technical Competencies and Experience

We are looking for candidates with several of the following attributes:

• Evidence of delivering major transformation, performance improvement, operational restructuring or merger integration projects


• Analytical rigour, preferably with financial and / or diligence experience


• Broad operational experience in the Hotel and Hospitality industry combined with advisory experience from a leading professional services firm


• Proven record of delivering state of the art solutions to an evolving sector


• A tight grasp on current industry trends


• Clear determination to deliver the latest thinking in a highly competitive advisory marketplace


• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and unpredictable environment


• Fluency in French and English are essential and, fluency in German or Spanish are highly desirable


• Experience of living and working in France and wider Europe


• 2.1 or equivalent from accredited university; MBA valued

For Directors, we also look for:

• Demonstrable leadership in a project-based environment


• Building a robust yet flexible plan to generate deal flow and sustained repeat business, externally and internally.


• Demonstrable leadership on large-scale projects including but not limited to post-merger integrations, carve-outs, value creation.


• Assimilating and leveraging existing capability within Corporate Transformation Services, Private Equity Performance Improvement and Restructuring.


• Senior Level experiences with the blend of industry and advisory experiences with proven track record in delivering changes and results


• Professional network across the European THL sector
