POSITION OVERVIEW

The ITS Application Developer is responsible for leading and assisting in scope, design, and development of applications at the Authority. The position would own leveraging API (Application Programming Interface) or creating integrations between new and existing Authority applications. Another responsibility would be providing ongoing support and future enhancements of those solutions deployed in the Authority application environment. This developer will also work with other team members as needed to scope, design, develop, test, implement, support, and enhance Oracle e-Business solutions. In addition, the developer will work on developing reports and dashboards as per ITS reporting strategy and tools to support business customer request. 

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Design, setup, develop and test business software applications and interface solutions that will be delivered into the Authority application environment following best practices and development standards.


• Design and develop customizations and/or enhancements to Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) R12 based on business requirements.


• Develop and support integrations between Oracle EBS and other third-party applications.


• Design and develop reports and dashboards following the Authority reporting strategy and tools.


• Unit test and engage in full system testing of all related technical functions, working with ITS Analysts and other staff within the project and Business teams.


• Prepare detailed technical specifications based on business requirement and functional specifications.


• Solicit technical and functional approval of same for subsequent development and testing.


• Engage in all production change requests for Oracle EBS and other platforms, supported by position.


• Stay current with industry changes to software development practices and languages


• Develop and guide Software Development Lifecycle direction and decision.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to interact professionally with all levels of business leaders and subject matter experts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from an accredited four year degree granting college or university with a degree in software development or computer science or a related study, or equivalent experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job specific competencies noted below.

• At least 3 years technical experience with SQL, PL/SQL, OAF, ADF, Workflow, Open Interfaces and APIs, J-Developer and BI Publisher


• At least 3 years of experience developing and deploying Oracle EBS application reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions


• At least 3 years of experience at all stages of project lifecycle, from business requirements and technical definitions to development, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), unit testing, impact analysis, and production support


• Experience supporting Oracle Enterprise Business Suite  (EBS) 12.2 including in depth knowledge of Oracle API’s


• Experience designing and developing database objects, stored procedures, triggers, and functions in Oracle and SQL-Server databases.


• Strong experience with Oracle Apex Development Platform.


• Experience developing in  .NET,  VB, Java, Javascript, PowerBI is a plus.


• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud is a plus.

COMPENSATION

$90,000 commensurate with experience
