WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Machine operators run our automated robotic machinery, make sure everything is working correctly, and keep our machines stocked. Machine operators must be safety-minded and have good attention to detail.

Don't have experience, but want to work with robots? We'll train!

Essential Duties and Responsabilities
• Ability to read and understand daily production schedule and material requirements.

• Transport needed packaging materials to production area.

• Set-up and operation of packaging equipment with correct materials and product based on order specifications.

• Meet daily production requirements.

• Perform periodic quality control checks to ensure product is packaged according to customer requirements (including checking end and back seals, and date codes).

• Change product variety, must follow pre-set guidelines and change out filtering screens based on product variety/size. Set, adjust and periodically check the flow of product through a foreign materials machine. Check magnet for any foreign materials and document and report as required.

• Accurately complete and maintain required documentation on product, materials/supplies, output and machine downtime.

• Troubleshoot minor packaging problems and make appropriate adjustments on equipment.

• Communicate with management and maintenance personnel on a timely basis to facilitate maintenance and repairs.

• Comply with company safety policies and maintain clean and orderly work area.

• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms
Perform other duties as assigned by Packaging Supervisor or Lead
