The Intelligent Vision Services Software team at GN Audio, Cupertino is looking for software engineering technical program manager (TPM) to drive software applications development and embedded software development projects. These are fast paced engineering projects based on cutting edge hardware and software technologies. The TPM is required to work with multidisciplinary teams working in multiple time zones.
Education & Experience:
BS/MS CE/EE/CS or equivalent work experience
5-8 years of hands-on engineering or project management experience in software applications development on Windows, Mac, Linux and Android based platforms and embedded software development projects for home or enterprise grade hardware devices and appliances.
Additional Experience Requirements:
User based applications development projects including UI and UX design.
Embedded Software Bring-up, Embedded Systems Device Drivers and HW/SW integration
Experience in program management, release management and/or engineering management working on software engineering projects
Experience with software project management and planning tools like Microsoft Project, Jama, Jira and Miro.
Experience in Agile Safe software development methodologies
Experience as Scrum Master
Experience with AI/ML based applications and products is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
Drive large, cross-functional efforts to deliver SW for new HW platforms.
Program management for Windows and Mac based applications development
Lead all aspects of SW development and testing efforts: you will define, milestones, success criteria, resource allocation, schedule and budget.
Lead efforts across teams (internal and external) representing multiple layers of the software stack as well as other cross-functional partners (UX, ID design, Hardware, Mechanical)
Identify and mitigate risks, removing roadblocks and facilitating communication between teams is critical to the role.
Influence teams that design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
Continuously improve team's processes and execution productivity.
Conduct regular project co-ordination meetings with development teams and follow-up on actions.
Conduct sprint planning and daily scrum sessions.
