Job Description:

Overview


Coordinator is responsible for providing clerical support to underwriting staff and to handle client demands and requests in an expedient manner. Applicant must be detailed oriented and possess strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task. This is a full-time, entry-level position in Uniondale, NY. Experience is preferred but not required. Salary commensurate with experience.


Responsibilities




  • Responsible for answering emails in a timely and professional manner

  • Direct communication with clients and attorneys

  • Organizing third-party providers and vendors to deliver elements that cannot be produced in-house

  • Updating and circulating Title Reports as required

  • Preparing Title Affidavits

  • Preparing Proforma policies

  • Monitor individual files to ensure deadlines for production are met




Qualifications




  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Close attention to detail.

  • Must work well under pressure in a fast paced, team driven environment.

  • Problem solving abilities, decisiveness and good judgment to prioritize tasks under time constraints.

  • Professional and dependable.

  • Strong organizational skills demonstrating the ability to manage multiple files in different phases of completion.

  • Willingness to learn title from an audit forward perspective.

  • Basic computer skills, ability to learn Title specific software.
