Job Profile
This position is part of the Credit Card Change Delivery department. As a Business Analysis Specialist Sr - IT, you will be responsible for conducting analysis of the business and configuring our card processing systems for product specific features. This could include working with an Agile project, helping the team understand business needs and make decisions, as well as mapping processes, analyzing data, writing user stories, prioritizing work as well as defining test criteria.
Due to the nature of this position, preferred candidates will have experience with mapping, modeling, analyzing, and improving business processes and data flows. In addition, candidates should be able to make recommendations for solutions or improvements that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology, as well as perform cost benefit analysis to justify recommended solutions and then document and evaluate data and information needed to translate business requirements into software development designs. A background utilizing credit card processing systems (e.g., Fiserv, TSYS), experience in pulling and analyzing data using Python, Hadoop, Tableau, SAS, or other similar tools/languages, as well as exposure with mapping processes, analyzing data, writing user stories, prioritizing work, defining test criteria, performing testing, and actively advocating for the LOB and customer in design/development will be beneficial in this role. Certification in Business Analysis, Project Management, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or similar areas is also preferred.
