As SAP Basis Administrator, you have exposure to a wide variety of technical environments, SAP global implementations, enhancements and upgrades. You'll receive training and exposure to high-visibility projects in our stable, yet growing privately-held company.

You Will:

• Perform daily operations and project driven installations of SAP software products, ensuring that mission-critical SAP ERP systems are continually available




• Maintain and use Solution Manager to define and support the SAP environment




• Configure WebDispatch and maintain security HTTPS cert across all instances.




• Implement and support SAP S4Hana and related third-party tools in development, quality assurance, and production systems




• Perform SAP refreshes and client copies, and apply support packages, kernel and software patches, and fixes and spool management




• Perform SQL server installs, patches, administrations, restores, and recoveries




• Analyze system performance, database performance, and establish system connections




• Assess impact of new SAP releases to current system environments, designing solutions and assisting production support teams in deploying solutions




• Manage problem escalation and resolution, using SAP AG and other vendors to solve problems




• Maintain integrity of SAP environments by managing the Transport Management System to ensure all configuration and development objects are migrated properly

You Have:

• Minimum of four (4) years of progressive/related IT experience to include experience with SAP Basis functions




• Minimum of two (2) years of SQL Server Database administrator experience




• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, preferred




• Solid knowledge of the following:

- SAP, with a strong preference for exposure to S4HANA

- SAP windows deployment including SQL server

- Understanding and deployment of Security HTTPS encryption

- Solution Manager and SAP support

• Understanding of Windows server operating systems and required hardware




• Ability to work with concepts such as Relational Database theory, Message Queuing theory and Operating System theory
