Job Summary:


The Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor, under the direction and guidance of the Housekeeping Supervisor, has overall responsibility for all aspects of the housekeeping and laundry departments and staffs.  This includes all scheduling, quality control, and inspection of all facilities from a cleanliness and safety standpoint.


 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• 
  Meets with Housekeeping supervisor on a daily basis for briefings, instructions, special facility needs, etc.
  

• 
  Discuss with and report to supervisor any and all staffing problems, potential problems, etc. immediately. 
  

• 
  Conducts regular inspections of all assigned areas.  Documents all inspections on Supervisor Report Form and forwards to Housekeeping Supervisor.  Inspections to include carpeting, furniture, walls, fixtures, etc. 
  

Education and/or Experience:  High school diploma or its equivalency.  One year of professional housekeeping experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
