JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team supporting an industry-leading network offering to deliver life-safety alarm transport services for over 2 million customers. You will have the opportunity to use your current skills as well as learn new skills to bring to bear in our challenging environment.

JOB DUTIES:

• Support staff to participate in critical customer service offerings.
• Work with a modern, high-performance SQL Server environment.
• Support deployment activities for changes to the database
• Data administration, supervision, and/or and management functions (collection, monitoring, analysis, distribution)

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience or certification (Technical training preferred)
• 5-8 years of experience in a DBA role, preferably in an MS-SQL OLTP environment.
• Hands-on experience working with live transactional and archival databases.
• Any new hire for this position must be vaccinated for COVID-19 by their start date with Resideo, subject to any prohibitions or exceptions under state or local law.

• Experience with Azure SQL
• Experience with IaC methodologies
• Familiarity with non-SQL database technologies
• Capable of performing cybersecurity measures for data security, including monitoring and data protection
• Expert skill level in Transact-SQL, including performance tuning for OLTP systems
• Experience with data modeling tools and techniques
