Position Overview: The Commercialization Project Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective management of product launches, including new items, item changes, or other projects requiring cross-functional alignment. The role is focused on driving alignment and efficient progress for prioritized projects, to deliver on time and on budget. Responsibilities include: Leading cross-functional team meetings, publishing notes, follow-ups, next steps, and timelines, ensuring that key milestones are met and that the team is all aware of latest progress and is completing tasks, while providing ongoing tracking and measuring of success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive and manage innovation, renovation, and productivity projects, while assuring business alignment and high quality products.
Work with cross functional teams and business partners to ensure projects are successfully executed and delivered on time and within budget.
Effectively interact with many cross-functional team members, including Sales, Culinary, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance.
Accountable for project timelines, financials, action plans and risk management.
Organize, report and communicate the project activity to executive management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or other relevant area.
One to three years of Project Management experience required; food industry experience strongly preferred, (B2B) foodservice experience also preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint – with experience in PowerBI, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and Microsoft Project a plus.
Experience with Workfront or similar PM software.
PMP certification a plus.
Role requires excellent project and time management skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple diverse audiences.
Requires a proven track record of personal accountability, delivering results, and displaying collaborative skills, aligned to the values of the organization.
Must be comfortable managing multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities and deadlines, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Must possess an understanding and ability to articulate the roles of each function.
Must have good financial acumen.
Must be detail oriented, able to create detailed timelines and specific action plans for projects
Requires good presentation skills and the ability to synthesize project details into a concise, impactful summary adapted to the audience (working team, specific functions, or Leadership)
