PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Under minimal supervision, this position manages and executes both organic search engine (SEO) and digital advertising. This position has direct responsibility for meeting conversion goals from both organic traffic and digital advertising traffic to the website. The specialist must be equally savvy in organic optimizations as well as the latest in digital advertising including search, programmatic and social.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations.
Works with the Program Director, SEO/SEM to plan, track, report and analyze website analytics for organic and paid traffic.
Researches, executes, and implements best on-page, off-page, and technical SEO optimizations to ensure best SEO practices are executed.
Implements, monitors, and reports digital advertising initiatives to grow the volume of online appointments with an emphasis in messaging and cost effectiveness
Works with partner agencies for the execution and monitoring of existing campaigns to optimize towards best results, transparency, and efficacy
Remains abreast of changes and developments in the blood banking and marketing industry. Establishes and maintains a network of professional relationships.
Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge/Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred.
Knowledge of the basic principles of digital advertising and search engine optimization required.
Licenses/Certifications
Google Analytics and Google Ads beginner certification preferred.
Experience
Two years of related experience required.

Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Must have analytical, statistical, personal organization, and problem-solving skills.
Able to organize, prioritize, and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities.
Effective oral and written business communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active member.
Must have proficient computer skills.
Ability to travel (5-10%).
