JOB Summary 

The Sr. Marketing Coordinator works in collaboration with Combined’s marketing and sales teams to help plan and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives that support the growth and success of Combined’s small and mid-sized group sales.

Responsibilities 

The Sr. Marketing Coordinator will partner with sales and Combined’s sales enablement teams, working closely to help define targeted and/or personalized strategies and tactics that enable sales to initiate, strengthen and retain B2B customer relationships.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and tactical marketer with hands-on experience designing, activating, and optimizing effective marketing programs that engage prospects and customers and drive sales. This individual should also have experience leveraging data to analyze and report on marketing effectiveness. The Sr. Marketing Coordinator will report to Combined’s Sr. Director of Group Marketing and Business Development.

COMPETENCIES


  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns and efforts targeting small- to -mid-sized business leaders, brokers and influencers, in efforts to generate new business leads and opportunities.

  • Plan and execute regional marketing plans to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and strengthen customer retention.

  • Manage program enabling localized marketing strategies and initiatives.

  • Work with agency partners to support high-quality campaign and collateral development and activation, keeping pace with best-practices and new approaches.

  • Develop messaging that attracts, engages and helps to solidify new business sales and opportunities, including on the Web, social media, email, and sales collateral and presentations.

  • Partner across internal stakeholders and collaborators, including sales, training, underwriting, and legal teams.

  • Track marketing campaign effectiveness and use data to inform and guide new/evolving tactics that result in effective lead generation and/or customer retention.

Skills


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop effective marketing communications for target audience.

  • Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns for a complex industry, ideally in the group/B2B marketing and sales environments.

  • Ability to multi-task in order to handle a number of projects at once, while remaining flexible to changing business requirements and priorities.

  • Experience in targeted and regional digital marketing, event marketing, and social media channels to reach and engage business decision-makers and/or brokers.

  • Adept at collaborating with multiple stakeholders and partners on projects, including external agencies.

  • Works with urgency in fast-paced sales-driven environment; Strong project management skills to ensure timely delivery and to meet business and sales needs and expectations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with a good sense for presentation, layout, and design.

Education and Experience 


  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred degree in marketing, communications or related major.

  • 3-5 years of solid experience in marketing.

  • Experience in Business-to-Business (B2B), influencer and/or broker marketing environments a plus.

  • Insurance and/or employee benefits experience a plus.
