Position Overview:
The Client Accounting Specialist will work with clients to gather the necessary information to complete bookkeeping, general ledger reports, and financial statements. This position will also be responsible for developing industry-specific expertise while staying current with payroll rules and taxability.


Responsibilities:

Record adjusting journal entries
Review and analyze general ledger accounts
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements
Client training, consulting, and strategizing
Code banking and credit card transactions
Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist the client with QuickBooks training and clean up
Process payroll tax and payroll reports
Perform general bookkeeping duties for clients

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Accounting or at least 2 years' prior bookkeeping/payroll experience strongly preferred
QuickBooks experience required
Prior experience with a CPA firm is a plus
