  • Supporting production by monitoring processes, ordering inputs, loading semi-finished materials, inspecting materials, and performing quality inspections to release product.

  • 3M Aberdeen has summer opportunities in Production, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Systems Technician, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Logistics, and more.

Your Skills and Expertise 
 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:


  • Must be 18 years of age upon hire date.

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start).

  • Candidate must be a 2021 High School Graduate, or must have completed at least one semester of post-secondary as a full-time student within the current year to be eligible for summer work.

  • Must be able to perform shift work such as rotating or midnight shifts, and work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Possess attention to detail and knowing the importance of following operating procedures and customer specifications to produce quality products, which are delivered to customers on time.

  • Be a team player who works effectively within a work team and collaborate with other teams.

  • Thrive on making things not only better, but different through continuous improvement and problem solving.

  • Take pride in maintaining neat and orderly conditions where you work and promote safe conditions.
     

Relocation: Is not authorized
