In the role of XStore Consultant, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications

• Location for this position is Bolingbrook, IL. You must be within commuting distance or willing to relocate. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology

Preferred Qualifications
• At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle in Point of Sales Xstore and experience in implementing Oracle Xstore and Xoffice modules
• Ability to provide guidance and lead key technical architecture and business design sessions
• Ability to drive techno-functional discussions with the customer related to Oracle Xstore modules and omni-channel journey
• Experience working in Xstore mobile point of sale customizations, configurations
• Knowledge on POS peripherals, their configuration and maintenance
• Knowledge of build generation, deployment of build, patches and POS environment maintenance
• Experience in Payment software solution integration with Xstore and Xstore mobile
• Experience to Oracle Retail order Broker (OROB) and Oracle OMS (OROMS) cloud implementation would be preferred
• Ability to perform validation on key gaps and extensions
• Experience in design and development of Java/J2EE based applications/components in general would be an added advantage
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
