Our Role:

PGIM Fixed Income has evolved its marketing strategy to deliver an always-on and integrated content experience in support of elevating awareness of its investment reputation. To continue the evolution of our content and delivery capabilities, we are looking to add a media design specialist to our marketing team. The role sits within the Marketing function and is part of the Client Advisory Group within PGIM Fixed Income, reporting to the design lead. This individual will be expected to contribute to graphic design and other design-oriented projects, including video and audio editing. Additionally, this role will help to backfill for responsibilities within the Marketing team, including but not limited to website maintenance, social media support, and podcast and webinar production, therefore, the ability to handle multiple, changing priorities is essential. A good candidate for this role will be comfortable handling large sets of data, working well under short deadlines, and has a positive, can-do attitude. The individual will be critical to the continued growth of marketing within PGIM Fixed Income. This position will be based in Newark, New Jersey.

Your Responsibilities/ Impact:


  • Assist in idea development, design, and delivery of content and campaigns across various marketing communications platforms including digital, social, e-mail, sales enablement, and paid media.


  • Provide graphic design support in alignment with PGIM Fixed Income’s brand standards. Ensure work is visually appealing and professional, using knowledge of design principals and software.


  • Assist in upkeeping the Firm’s website using platforms such as Drupal, CEROS, and Seismic.


  • Assist in the production of social media posts, podcasts, webinars, event collateral, etc.


  • Submit projects for compliance review and uphold typical image licensing/copywriting rules.


  • Partner with writers, data and analytics, media, social, advertising, and conference and event teams to deliver on marketing’s strategic objectives and tactics on a timely basis.


  • Maintain a deep understanding of our company, brand, products and services to support our mission, culture and purpose.


Your Required Skills:


  • To be considered for this position, candidates must provide a link to work samples that demonstrate proficiencies and skills in graphic design and/or video editing.


  • BA/BS degree; MBA a plus


  • 3-5 years financial services industry experience, or in institutional investment management.


  • 3-5 years’ design/visual media related marketing and communications content marketing experience


  • Strong design and typography skills with great attention to detail and writing mechanics


  • Familiarity with or understanding of fixed income and credit preferred


  • Proficiency in the entire Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, particularly InDesign. Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro/DC, Audition, After Effects, and Premiere Pro beneficial to the success of the role


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel


  • Experience working with large sets of data


  • A high degree of professionalism, strong work ethic, and relationship building skills


  • Strong organization, time-management, and critical thinking skills


  • Proactive and adept in working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment


  • Flexibility to work overtime as required


  • Social media, podcast production, and/or corporate event experience a plus


  • Knowledge of Seismic and Drupal CMSs, CEROS, On24, Socialive, Camtasia, Appspace, and/or HighCharts Cloud a plus
