The Eugene Water & Electric Board is seeking a qualified Limited Duration Meter Reader to provide excellent service to our customers.

The starting salary for this position is between $48,252 - $58,135 annually, commensurate with knowledge, skills, education, and experience as it relates to the position.
This is a Limited Duration position which may last from six months up to three years. The position will end on the projected end date, when the work is finished or for any other bona fide business purpose, whichever comes first. This limited duration position is anticipated to last approximately 6 months. Limited Duration employees receive full EWEB benefits and are eligible for internal only promotions during the assignment.

Minimum Training and Experience Required
Minimum Experience: One year of experience working outdoors in field data collection or route delivery.
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Special Qualification: One year of experience reading utility or related meters.
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of experience and training may be qualifying.
