A Support Specialist Supervisor!  Sound Credit Union is currently adding to our growing Tech Solutions Team. We have an immediate opening for an IT Support Specialist Supervisor. In this role, you will be providing elevated technical support and coaching to the Service Desk Team. You will assist the Service Delivery Manager with Credit Union projects as well as escalated support. Provide one-on-one assistance to end-users of the credit union in a friendly, respectful, courteous, and professional manner.

As a Support Specialist Supervisor, you will…


  • Assist the Service Delivery Manager with employee hardware, software, and data access privileges in accordance with Sound Credit Union policies, and management directives.

  • Supervisor the ticketing queue for tickets that may need to be escalated or that are not adhering to our SLAs, inform Service Deliver Manager when necessary.  

  • Create and manage work orders in a help desk system.  Triage work orders to others within and outside of the IT department.  Identify and escalate problem tickets and urgent situations to the proper resource, while keeping a mindful eye towards root causes and problem resolution. 

  • Provide advanced support to Support Desk Specialists on complex issues they encounter

  • Assist in the coaching of staff and provide hardware/ software training as necessary.  Ensure help desk staff remain current on the company's various technologies. 

  • Participate in the execution of IT projects as needed.

  • Assist with regular vendor and external partner reviews for performance and service level goals.

Our ideal candidate will bring to the team…


  • 3 or more years' experience in the Help Desk and/or Computer Operator environment required.

  • Knowledge of data processing fundamentals and equipment operation.

  • Must be bondable. 

  • Technical certification preferred.

  • Knowledge of networking and Microsoft operating systems.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • This position requires physical, in-person, face-to-face interaction.

  • Employer sponsorship to secure or maintain employment authorization is not available. 

Days/Hours: Monday- Friday, varies nights and weekends

Pay: $66,400- $83,000/ annually- Depending on experience
