THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Partner Marketing Manager at Xactly Corporation, you'll drive co-marketing campaigns to generate sales actionable pipeline through Xactly's relationships with key partners such as Salesforce, Oracle and Microsoft. Partners play a key role in delivering and supporting variable Intelligent Revenue solutions provided by Xactly, and co-marketing with existing and future partners is critical to the company's strategy today and going forward. You will be responsible for:


  • Managing the co-marketing relationships specifically with Microsoft and Salesforce AMER

  • Supporting the co-marketing relationships with other Xactly partners as directed

  • Support partner related demand generation programs and campaigns that will drive partner related revenue

  • Evangelizing the partnership internally and externally to ensure awareness and collaboration.

  • Marketing to partners by effectively communicating product updates, press releases, and events, and driving partner awareness

  • Marketing through partners by inviting them to conduct their own campaigns and enabling our partners with content, training, and other resources for their marketing and sales teams

  • Marketing with partners by collaborating on joint campaigns

  • Partnering internally with our business development, marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure active follow-up on any partner related leads

  • Participating in and assisting with field events both live and virtual, including international activities

THE SKILL SET


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • 3+ years' experience in technology in marketing, with experience with working with both sales teams and partners preferred.

  • Track record of successful marketing campaign development and execution.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create presentations and other documents that can be used by external partners or internal teams.

  • A flexible approach and ability to operate under an agile marketing structure combined with a high level of self-direction.


WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU'LL

  • Build relationships with your team and internal business partners including Sales, Marketing, and Business Development..

  • Get your bearings and understand of how Xactly operates


  • Meet with key Partners and start building relationships with their marketing teams.

  • Gain a strong understanding of our space and the business challenges Xactly solves

  • Understand the current partner ecosystem and strategy

  • Make recommendations for the Q1 partner marketing programs

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU'LL

  • Have a set of dashboards that you use to track and measure the effectiveness of all partner related activities

  • Be executing on the partner marketing campaigns for Q2

  • Make requests for partner marketing budget for the next quarter

  • Present to partners new joint marketing opportunities.

  • Be seen as a critical ally of the Business Development Team by helping them develop and execute go-to-market plans for each of our Partners.

  • Be seen by sales as source of support for the partner related assets they need to be successful.

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU'LL

  • Have enough tracked partner marketing activity to start pushing for new opportunities and changes to the partner marketing plan.

  • Drive the development of annual & quarterly plans for your partners to drive growth via our Partners, including influencing Xactly Leadership to achieve plan approval.

  • Coordinate the cross functional priorities across the marketing and partner teams, securing resources and support

  • Take the lead in presenting quarterly updates on partner marketing execution and measurable successes, plus reviews of areas for improvement


WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU'LL

  • Drive the future plans for partner marketing, including identifying new partners and new partner types that can help drive expanded marketing initiatives that will impact Xactly's growth.

  • Identify new opportunities for your career education and growth, ensure that the learning process never ends.

  • Be presenting at Xactly Revenue Kick Off about the past successes and future opportunities we have with our partners.

Final pay determinations, salary ranges and pay increases are established by the employer. They are based upon a combination of local industry benchmarks, budget, experience, and internal comparisons.

Salary ranges allow for growth opportunities as the employee develops new skills, and/or hones current skills.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 + Semi Annual Bonus
