Recruiting Coordinator at Targa Resources Corp

Job Description:

JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Coordinate recruiting requests while maintaining efficient communication between candidates, recruiters, HR Business Partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Updating candidate records in recruiting systems and confirming new hires - maintain data integrity to ensure accurate data tracking and reporting.
  • Manages pre-employment and onboarding processes in partnership with candidates, Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and HR Business Partners.
  • Track candidates throughout the recruiting process and ensure the completion of all pre-hire due diligence.
  • Plans and independently executes special projects as assigned by management.
  • Schedule a high volume of interviews to support the recruiting team and the business.
  • Promptly respond to candidates' emails and internal stakeholders regarding any inquiries during the recruiting process.
  • Always maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
  • Conducts employment related research and assists recruitment team with methods of sourcing of qualified candidates as assigned by management.
  • Provides support coordination of recruitment projects and related services to supervisors, hiring managers, recruitment team members, and others.
  • Assisting in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:


  • High School diploma with at least 2 years prior experience in a Corporate Recruiting environment.
  • Prior experience onboarding new hires, including participation in new hire orientations.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to work independently, with little direction.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multi task.
  • Strong MS Office experience especially in Excel, Power Point and Visio.
  • At least 1-3 years 'experience applying HR fundamental concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent ability to solve problems and meet deadlines by juggling multiple, competing and changing priorities.
  • Experience working with HR software preferably Taleo and UKG.
  • High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel, as well as external suppliers.
  • Prioritize timely follow-up and follow-through, thoroughness in work product and attention to detail.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
