Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Cybersecurity Engineer Senior to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Corporate Business Segment in Columbus, IN / remote location within the United States.  The primary focus of this position will be in network security.  However, the candidate will need to have an overall understanding of all security fundamentals.   

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:


  • Conduct software and systems engineering and software systems research to develop new capabilities, ensuring cybersecurity is fully integrated.

  • Document and transition new capabilities to operations team for day-to-day maintenance and support

  • Troubleshoot hardware/software interfaces and interoperability between integrated systems to assist operations teams when needed

  • Conduct system engineering and research to develop new solutions that ensure cybersecurity controls are integrated into the enterprise to support business goals.

  • Consultation with IT entities outside of the cybersecurity organization in order to integrate and align cybersecurity system configurations to ensure system performance meets documented requirements.

  • Design hardware, operating systems, and software applications to adequately address cybersecurity requirements.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:


  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject, or relevant experience required.

  • 5+ years of cybersecurity work experience is required.

  • The following experience is preferred:


  • Experience with Cloud technology and concepts

  • Firewalling - Cisco ASA/Palo Alto. 

  • Splunk/SIEM

  • IDS/IPS

  • Firewall Management - Tufin

  • Cloud networking knowledge

  • Network segmentation experience

  • Manufacturing/IOT Networking Experience

  • Proxy/Secure Internet Gateway Experience

  • Traffic analysis and tooling to analyze network traffic

  • Understanding of Netflow

  • Network Design/Configuration/Administration

  • Knowledge of security standard frameworks

  • Windows and Linux Operating Systems

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
