Position Summary
The application security focused Solutions Marketing Manager is responsible for the design and creation of content and digital experiences that effectively position F5 solutions to information security related audiences. You will drive and coordinate development and delivery of F5 use case solution campaign content targeting specific market needs that support F5 corporate marketing objectives.
*This role can be remote within the continental US, West Coast preferred*
You’ll have a strong understanding of the challenges of information security teams and the technical capabilities to work cross functionally with product management, product marketing, and technical sales. You should also be able to apply marketing best practices and able to understand measurement models/KPIs to help monitor campaign success.
Strategy: Combined with your knowledge and experience in working with information security teams and related roles, you will engage with InfoSec communities and partner with solution architects, market intelligence, and product marketing teams to understand customer problems and tailor specific messaging and positioning frameworks that differentiates F5’s security solutions.
Content Creation: Based on messaging and positioning frameworks, you will curate marketing campaign content journeys, and will drive the creation of content (e.g. articles, web pages, webinars, etc.) as well as source content from other teams and subject matter experts.
Enablement: Enable account managers with customer-facing content necessary for use-case based selling. Serve as a subject matter expert for other marketing teams that require your input to execute marketing campaigns, including campaign landing pages or ads. Help craft content for key events.
Qualifications
Preferred
BA/BS degree preferred, but experience matters more.
2+ years configuring or implementing security tools or managing security compliance
2+ years’ experience in product marketing or solutions marketing desired
Previous experience working participating in security user communities desired
