A Magnet designated acute-care hospital located in central Vermont is now searching for an experienced ASCP Medical Laboratory Technologist Generalist to join their accredited healthcare team.

The Medical Laboratory Technologist will join an established Laboratory service line that services every hospital department, including the emergency department and cancer center. The laboratory utilizes state-of-the-art technologies and provides a variety of services including Hematology, Chemistry, Anatomical Pathology, Microbiology, Blood Bank, and Reference Lab. The Medical Laboratory Technologist is responsible for sample processing, test performance, and for reporting of test results for the use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. The Medical Laboratory Technologist will function both independently and as a team member. This is a full-time day shift with some flexible schedule rotation.


Requirements Include:



  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Medical Technology program

  • MLS, MLT, MT, or CLS registration required through the ASCP

  • Prior experience working in several medical laboratory areas strongly preferred
