Overview

CAES is seeking a Production Test Tech level 5 to work at our Exeter, NH facility. The Production Test Tech responsibilities are focused in the area of RF microwave on rotary joints to test and trouble shoot product to meet shipping schedules. The Production Test Tech will support production activities within a group concentrating on tuning and testing advanced microwave subsystems for applications including missile front ends, radar receivers and Rotary Joints. Duties include RF testing and troubleshooting, collecting and documenting test data and providing feedback to manufacturing engineers on production products.

Responsibilities

• Operate a PNA analyzer


• Work in a production environment to perform testing and troubleshooting of Rotary joints and sub-assemblies and carefully review data for compliance.


• Carefully follow production documentation and processes, including keeping detailed records of testing and rework performed.


• Actively participate in daily production meetings and regularly interface with manufacturing engineers and production personal


• Prepares technical reports, summarizes findings and recommends solutions to technical problems


• Perform technical assignments of an investigatory nature requiring minimal direction from senior engineering personnel.


• Works closely with the Value Stream Planner to ensure production schedule is met, making adjustments in work flow as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School/GED education


• 5+ years of RF microwave experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Should be familiar with geometric tolerances


• Ability to read and interpret blue prints.


• General knowledge in trigonometry


• Basic computer skills


• Good manual dexterity


• Must be able to prove US Citizenship
