Job Summary:

We are seeking a detailed, organized human resources (HR) professional with an eye for catching errors and a passion for all things data! If this sounds like you, read on.

**This position can be located in any of the Edelman US office locations, and can be fully remote within those geographical areas.**

The HR Systems Operations and Data Management team is responsible for beginning to end data entry and processing for all starter, mover, and leaver changes within the HR function for U.S. based employees. The Systems Operations and Data Management team is part of the greater U.S. HR Shared Operations team.

What You Will Do:


    • Manage the accurate entry of data into HR systems for new hires, terminations, employee status changes, supervisor changes, address changes, and other personnel information

    • Audit new hire paperwork to ensure accuracy

    • Process employee payroll related documentation and communications, including performing semi-monthly payroll audits

    • Maintain and manage employee files

    • Participate in data audits to maintain data accuracy in PeopleSoft and all other applicable HR systems

    • Perform employment verifications for current and inactive staff

    • Ensure local office compliance with state and federal laws

    • Build and maintain a network of credibility, trust, and confidence with stakeholders

    • Consistently execute deliverables on time, identifying and using resources appropriately and by following policies and protocols

    • Support reporting needs for the broader HR organization

    • Support system upgrades and implementations

Qualifications:


    • At least two years' work experience in human resources or a different field with transferable skills and an interest in innovative HR practices in a professional services environment

    • High volume data entry and validation experience

    • High level of discretion with confidential information

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Effective written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

    • Ability to quickly respond to inquiries with sound judgment

    • Proactive cross-functional partnerships to work effectively with peers and partners throughout the whole organization

    • Proficient in PeopleSoft and/or other HR systems

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
