Kforce is seeking a Payroll Processor for one of their clients based in Clearwater, FL. This position is fully remote.
Responsibilities:
Processes weekly payroll, approximately 2000 - 2,500 employees' payroll
Payroll Processor maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers
Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests
Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; Reporting needed changes
As a Payroll Processor, you maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting preferred
Corporate Payroll processing experience (weekly and biweekly)
Analyzing information, data entry skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, thoroughness, general math skills, financial software, reporting skills, verbal communication, and organization
Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws
Preferred: Experience with UltiPro
