Kforce's client, a world class healthcare company in NYC, is rapidly growing and they are seeking a Financial Analyst to be a part of their finance team. This role requires experience with VBA & SQL. This firm offers excellent benefits, opportunity for advancement & is fully remote.
Key Tasks:
Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing management reports including financial reports, P&L reports by location, variance analysis (budget to actuals) including report development & underlying database queries
Assists in communications with report users to obtain feedback on current and future reports
As a Financial Analyst, you will assist in the development and maintenance of data used to measure current operations, including designing queries, managing data dictionaries, and developing business intelligence to meet reporting needs
Assists in the development and maintenance of database programs used to automate the extraction and database archival of data; Responsible for running data integrity checks and maintaining current catalogue of queries and views used by the organization
Assists in the development and management of back-end development of reporting platform(s), using advanced spreadsheet (Excel) knowledge, coding for Windows applications (VBA) and database querying language (MS-SQL)
Financial Analyst oversees front-end administration of reporting platform(s), including managing distribution of standard reports in an electronically viewable format
Develops custom reports and database queries for use in modeling and forecasting
Assists in the development and distribution of ad hoc reports as requested
Responsible for documenting processes and procedures for developing reports and makes recommendations for standardization
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, and/or Accounting
Approximately 2 plus years of experience in a reporting analytics role
Working knowledge of relational database architecture, tables, and datasets (i.e., MS-SQL)
Experience with conducting financial analysis, along with working knowledge of financial systems is highly desired
GE/EPIC Billing system and SAP are pluses
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills required
Excellent written, verbal communication skills are required
Demonstrated ability to develop proficiency with unfamiliar toolsets is required
