TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Software Engineer in Atlanta, GA.
Individuals within the Software Engineer role will work closely with clients and product development and configuration team members to understand the departmental stakeholder requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with the Business and Transformation strategies and be compliant with the TKE's architectural standards. Software Engineers are involved in the full life cycle of an application.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Work across the full stack, building scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
Engineer software components to meet solution requirements including specifications, costs, quality, time, information security and data protection. Follow departmental methodology to analyze and build required components and interfaces
Handle multiple projects and duties simultaneously, prioritizing as needed.
Devise flexible approaches that are easily adopted by all levels and types of people. Work creatively to respond to a specific situation. Quickly resolve new challenges in a changing environment
Assess the needs of primary business functions. Suggest technical solutions for business functions and implement action plans to improve ongoing business performance in ways that minimize day-to-day disruption of operations.
Select appropriate technical options for application design, optimizing the balance between cost and quality. Design data structures and builds system structure models according to analysis results through modelling languages. Identify a common reference framework to validate with representative users, based upon development models
Code, debug, test, document and communicate product development stages. Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving or reconfiguration of existing components
Interpret the application design to develop a suitable application in accordance with customer needs
Integrate hardware, software or sub system components into existing system. Comply with established processes and procedures such as, configuration management and package maintenance
Collate and report information. Solicit guidance to define criteria and assign values of importance and urgency. Sort information in order of importance Investigate to define problems more accurately
Conduct discussions with all levels of colleagues and peer groups in ways that support troubleshooting and problem solving. Seek and share relevant information, opinions, and judgments. Handle conflict empathetically
Investigate defined issues with uncertain but limited cause. Solicit input in gathering data that help identify and differentiate the symptoms and root causes of defined problems. Suggest alternative approaches that meet the needs of the organization, the situation, and those involved. Escalate issues with suggestions for further investigation and options for consideration
