ARCOSA Aggregates is searching for a CDL Driver for our Franklinton, LA plant. In this role you will support a positive safety culture by directing the activities and staff within a 24/7 aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA
safety standards. As a CDL Driver you will you will haul heavy mobile and plant equipment to all Arcosa Aggregate locations.

Arcosa Aggregates is a leading producer and distributor in the Western and Southwestern U.S. of lightweight and natural
aggregates, including expanded shale and clay, crushed stone, sand and gravel, asphalt rock, and other products.

What you'll do:
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations
• Operates a tractor trailer truck that transports cargo to and from specified destinations.
• Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service.
• Loads, secures and unloads cargo.
• Maintains radio or telephone contact with dispatcher to receive delivery or pick up instructions or to receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick up

• Maintains logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations
• May be responsible for vehicle maintenance and presentation. Relies on instructions and pre‐established guidelines and procedures to perform the functions of the job
• Complies with all company safety rules, procedures and applicable governmental regulations
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Follow all Corporate, MSHA, and FMCSA Safety rules to promote a positive safety culture
• Hauling oversize and overweight loads
• Responsible for recording work orders, mileage, PM services etc

What you'll need:
• Must be licensed to operate a truck
• Prompt, regular and predictable attendance
• Ability to stay out of town
• Ability to load and unload heavy equipment (loaders, dozers, graders, excavators etc.)
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required and lift weights up
to 60 pounds
• The ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• Must have an up-to-date Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class A
• Certificate of completion of a truck driving course
• Acceptable MVR and previous employment history
• Clean driving record
• Dedicated to safety and accident prevention
• A minimum of 1-3 year of verifiable driving experience as tractor trailer
• Must have a satisfactory driving record
