Develop, test, and final implementation of a variety of robotic and flexible automation systems
Configure and troubleshoot PLC's, robots, motion systems, and vision systems
Leading Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) mechanical & electrical installation of robot cell and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to ensure successful implementation.
Provide an extraordinary customer experience while tackling field service requests
Provide input and feedback to team members to setup projects for success
Identify lessons learned and propose continuous improvement
Willingness to travel 10%
Job Knowledge/Skills and Experience
BS in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Experience working in manufacturing environment.
Experience with FANUC industrial robotic systems and leading teams through commissioning and configuration of software, robotic programming and hardware of robotic arms.
Experience with programming and maintaining PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, FANUC, Mitsubishi or Delta); CAD modeling with Solidworks. Develop / Revise electrical drawings for a robotic cell using AutoCad.
Technical skills including familiarity with Linux command line tools.
Experience with functional safety systems for industrial controls and ability to debug industrial control systems. Experience reading and debugging with electrical schematics. Familiar with Robotic Industries Association (RIA) safety standards for robots.
Ability to manage onsite relationships with internal and external teams during deployment.
Ability to understand and improve operational processes.
Prior success in fast-paced environments demonstrating innovative problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently and in team settings.
Comfort working as both part of a team and/or entirely as an independent performer.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
