IDEXX is looking for an emerging DevOps Engineer to help us revolutionize veterinary healthcare. IDEXX's SmartFlow/rVetlink Software R&D group delivers a platform of powerful, scalable, reliable and high-performance services and infrastructures to support two critical veterinary software products offering to track a patient's journey through their visit as well as support referrals to veterinary specialists. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a core contributor to this group, helping us to deliver a world-class platform to the veterinary industry. You and your team will face complex challenges in distributed systems at scale.

In this role:

• As part of the SmartFlow/rVetlink Team, you will build and support a complex distributed platform in Azure.


• You will manage the dev, test, staging, and production environments and integrate them with our build, test, and production software releases.


• You will ensure that the solution is tuned to address business requirements by gathering metrics and identifying and implementing system enhancements.

What will you need to succeed:

• Cloud infrastructure experience (preferably Azure)


• Experience with PaaS infrastructures, and utilizing infrastructure as code concepts such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM)


• Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Table Storage, Azure Service Bus, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SignalR, Azure Application Insights, and Azure networking


• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)


• Experience with Azure DevOps as the orchestrator for continuous integration and continuous deployment environments


• Experience with source control tools such as Git and GitHub
