About this opportunity

Supporting the Beacon Health System Stroke Program, this internship position will be responsible for the following tasks, functions, and / or projects:


  • Aiding in patient satisfaction by participating in the Stroke Patient Satisfaction Surveys via BXP.

  • Assisting in the establishing Stroke Program relationships to aid in educating the community.

  • Partaking in risk factor education for stroke inpatients.

  • Assisting in completing Depression Screening intervention for stroke inpatients.

  • Attend the delivery of stroke services (i.e., Code Stroke, inpatient management, etc.) to enhance understanding.

Required Skills and Experience

Preferred candidates will be currently enrolled and majoring in healthcare-related fields, Healthcare Administration, or an academic major directly related to the position details provided above (such as Information Technology, Marketing, Human Resources, etc.) . Currently enrolled sophomore, junior, or senior-level students are preferred; however, all students are encouraged to apply.
