Administrative Coordinator - Purina Animal Nutrition

We are immediately hiring a dynamic Administrative Coordinator!

If so, you may enjoy being an Administrative Coordinator in our Purina Animal Nutrition manufacturing plant. Bring yourexcellent customer service skills,

integrity, attention to detail, reliable attendance, and friendly/professional skills.

Your focus would be


  • Scaling trucks in and out

  • Document preparation that assists in the manufacturing process

  • Working with transportation

  • Tracking shortages

  • Handling phone calls

  • Assisting in monthly inventory cycle counts

  • Assisting with yearly company uniforms & composite toe boot ordering process

  • Communicating with people from a variety of departments

  • Ordering warehouse, first aid & safety supplies

  • Purchase orders

  • Additional duties as assigned

Education/Experience (Required):

High School diploma/GED and 1+ years office experience.

Competencies-Skills (Required):

  • Ability to be pro-activeand alsowork both independently and collaboratively, while supporting multiple team members.
  • Must have a process-improvement mindset.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills - keeping team members updated on status of requests.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines and changing priorities. Attention to detail.
  • Must maintain a high level of quality and confidentiality.

Skills required:

  • Solid Microsoft Office skills

  • Strong Computer skills

  • Critical reasoning and problem solving

  • Excellent organization and strong attention to detail

  • Team oriented attitude

  • Self-starter/Self-motivated

Experience-Education (Preferred):
1+ year ofexperience in administrative or customer service

Skills (Preferred):


  • Experience with accounts payables in a manufacturing /warehouse environment

  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards/Oracle

  • Time management and multi-tasking skills

  • Ability to communicate in a variety of methods and with a variety of personalities

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity
