Position Overview

The 3D Systems site in Littleton, Colorado is expanding rapidly and needs a skilled Logistics Coordinator to augment the existing logistics team under the direction of the Logistics Supervisor. The successful candidate should be organized, dependable, have a high attention to detail, and a service mindset. Our pace of growth is only matched by the pace at which our customers expect their new and innovative products to be delivered.

The best Logistics Coordinators are multi-functional as they work on urgent patient case shipments and routine material management. They have the ability to work with all functions including procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and facilities in coordinating all aspects of the shipment and receipt of goods. This includes managing the movement of physical product and corresponding electronic transactions. Their greatest skill is having the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all departments. Attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and urgency are critical for success in this position.

Organization

As part of the Healthcare unit of 3D Systems, the Littleton facility acts as a service bureau to enable customers without the expertise, capital, or desire to additively manufacture their products. We are experts in digital workflows, patient-specific devices and five different kinds of 3D printing. The Manufacturing department serves both the Personalized Healthcare Services as well as the Advanced Manufacturing product lines with plastic and metal additive manufacturing.

Performance Objectives

Packout PHS Products: Support PHS product packout and shipment preparation. Process product in the shipping queue to ensure cases are processed accurately and efficiently. Adhere to strict HIPAA and data verification during packout and shipping processes. Support late-build shipments (up to 6:00pm) with carriers and emergency counter-to-counter drop-offs (up to 7:00pm) at Denver International Airport.

Administer Dock: Maintain product flow through the receiving area, maintaining safety, cleanliness, and product traceability. Greet carriers to accept shipments, direct traffic in the dock area, ensure deliveries are made to the correct building.

Manage Warehouse: Keep warehouse clean, neat, organized and ensure production material and non-production material is separate, identified, and able to be retrieved. Verify Warehouse Kanban is completed timely and communicated on schedule.

Receive Material: Perform initial product inspection for damage and quantity. Enter receipt of product into Oracle database so invoices can be paid. Ensure parcels received are distributed internally to the intended recipient. Move production material to the designated location in the warehouse.

Ship Product: Accept requests from onsite stakeholders, prepare items for transport, and ship using contracted services. Contact courier service suppliers, and ensure product is delivered to appropriate destination.Qualifications

The successful candidate should have 5-8 years in shipping/ receiving and warehouse management operations.

Must have strong organization skills. ERP experience is a plus.

Because we are primarily focused on medical devices, preference will be given to candidates with a background in the medical device industry and knowledge of ISO13485.

Having worked in a cross-functional environment will prove your ability to function effectively at 3D Systems.

Because you will handle sensitive product that is ITAR controlled, you must be a US person.

Moderate physical effort required by handling objects 50 pounds or more occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.

Valid U.S. Driver's License

Reliable transportation

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Hazardous shipping certification and/or knowledge is preferred.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Job Details

Full-time, hourly position (40 hrs/wk)

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Range: $18.56 - $26.01 (salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data)
