About the job

Our Richmond manufacturing facility is growing and is adding a brand-new Master Data Specialist to our lineup, and we’d like to hear from you! This role will create and develop our ERP system processes, as well as support its implementation and maintenance.

As a part of the team, you will:


  • Ensure the accuracy of all product data (Item Master, Bill of Materials, and Routings).  Working together with Sales, Product Management, Sourcing, and R&D collect required data necessary for new product set ups in the manufacturing system. 

  • Develop & Utilize OnePLM system alignment processes and tools for (ERP, Team Center, and ALiCE or CAS) with local and central teams.   

  • Be the primary Local Support for GPHE Leadtime and Factory Cost Quotations to Sales

  • Act as a local ERP Super User for Jeeves / Microsoft 365 and be the primary local support for our ERP System

  • Drive SixSigma Improvement Projects as needed

  • Standardize Planning Team ERP Processes and develop and maintain training matrices.

What you know

Alfa Laval has a Federal contractor COVID-19 vaccination policy for employees in Field Service roles, as well as roles in the Chesapeake, Greenwood, Houston, Richmond, and Warminster sites. You have a bachelor’s degree and:


  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (Microsoft 365 preferred)

  • Experience with Data Analysis Tools (SQL, Power BI, etc)

  • Understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes

  • Experience with BOMs and routings

  • Experience in Lean manufacturing

  • A love for systems and data management

We find that candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management tend to do well in this role, but those fields are not a requirement for consideration.
