About the Role

Treasury is the counter-side of lending and the cash management side of the business. Building relationships internally and externally is critical to your success and ours. Use your consultative approach as a trusted advisor to grow portfolios and manage existing ones to create efficiency for your client's businesses and manage their working capital. You'll educate clients on the most efficient ways to structure their accounts by keeping on top of and monitoring industry trends.

You'll solve for simple requests and complex issues. You will provide value by being apprised of and anticipating the clients' needs and delivering concierge-style customer service. Your satisfaction will come from the positive outcomes that you provide as a result of your skillful problem solving and collaborative spirit across various lines of business.

What You Can Expect

You are the ultimate connector of people internally and externally. You'll develop relationships at all client levels from accounts payable/receivable to controllers and CFOs. You advocate through every interaction and advise how various products and services create efficiencies and protection that benefit client operations. You will build relationships and get to know your coworkers in operations and technology and sales, working across multiple lines of business. Our teams work with product managers, analysts, operations, sales, vendors, and the product support team.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will develop new business and cross-sell to existing customers needing additional cash management/deposit products and increase customer awareness of alternative products offered by the bank.

  • You will develop and execute sales presentations for customers including cost/benefit analysis, service and fee comparisons, written proposals, and profitability analysis.

  • You will prepare and provide sales/service management tools including call plans, call reports, sales reports, and profitability and market analyses.

  • You will prepare and recommend market, product, and pricing strategies to achieve market share and profitability goals.

  • You will coordinate service support providing solutions to complex depository/cash management concerns which affect customer relationships.

COMMUNICATION: You will need exceptional verbal and written communication to express yourself clearly and concisely to internal and external clients.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDER: You relate to any audience and build trust by leveraging strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity, including C-level audiences.

PROBLEM SOLVER: You will use skillful questioning to draw out information and make informed decisions to resolve issues.

INITIATIVE: You will identify what to do before being asked and anticipate customer needs.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: You will use your solid knowledge of product delivery systems, on-line computer systems, and MS Office to navigate multiple systems.

TREASURY MANAGEMENT: You will use your knowledge and experience with banking and finance, cash management, bank operations, and products and services to deliver exceptional service to clients.

SPECIALIZED CASH MANAGEMENT TRAINING: Cash Management (CCM), Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certifications are a plus.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years' experience in cash management product sales or equivalent combination of education and experience
