What will your role be?

Dassault Systemes' Sales organization is growing. Our ambition is to provide growth opportunities for those starting their career and excited to take on new adventures. The Sales Associate position is a role that will give you the opportunity to contribute to our success: Successfully generate pipeline for assigned accounts to increase Dassault Systemes presence in key industries/clients and grow revenue on a mid and long-term basis.

As a starting point, you will participate in our Sales Academy. A structured and targeted training program that will provide you with fundamentals of our software solutions, sales processes, methodology and enable you to be our next generation Sales Executives. This role is in our Customer Solution Experience team that is responsible for direct sales for the DELMIABrand.

You will report to a Sales Leader with line of business responsibility and work closely with senior sales and technical professionals that will mentor and guide you through your initial introduction for a specified area of our activities. This will expose you on how to develop a marketing plan and foster understanding of the customer business and technical challenges. You will engage in pipeline development activities for assigned customers, and validate leads and opportunities with the client team. In this role, you will be working with a broad range of senior sales and technical executives giving you the opportunity to touch various industries and/or domains that we address, thus providing valuable experiences for your professional development.

The Challenges Ahead


  • Deliver business development plans for strategic accounts with the contribution of Dassault Systemes' ecosystem including technical sales and consistent with our sales process.

  • Contribute to the relationship and outcome of assigned accounts.

  • Conduct qualifying conversations with prospects in a consultative approach by phone to determine business needs, budget, and timeline

  • Use multiple tactics to engage with new accounts: social selling, phone, and email

  • Respond to inbound inquiries generated by website content and marketing campaigns

  • Support execution of Account Based Marketing campaigns as part of a cross-functional team

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Dassault Systemes' solutions, services, industries and workflows

  • Leverage internal and external training resources to develop and expand your business development skill set

Progress through the Sales Academy based on your performance, predicated on your work ethic and results.

Your Key Success Factors



  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM-related concentration strongly preferred


    • MBA an asset



  • 2+ years of prior work experience in engineering related fields and/or technical sales

  • Comfortable discussing technical requirements of engineering problems and translating them to a business value proposition

  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve objectives following established processes and methodologies with little supervision or guidance

  • Self-motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn, collaborate and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments

  • Comfortable delivering on key business targets (Pipeline, Sales...) with competing deadlines

  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication in English & Negotiation Skills.

  • Ability to develop and cultivate internal and external relationships to progress your business objectives

  • Strong functional use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of CRM is a plus

  • Comfortable presenting complex notions in easily digestible content to audiences with various levels of knowledge

  • Knowledge of industry specific manufacturing, design or processes is an asset

  • Confident interacting and presenting to a variety of internal and external stakeholders, up to the executive ranks
