The HR Project Management Office / Data & Analytics (PMO / D&A) is a function within the Human Resources division dedicated to providing an organization-wide view and approach to project management, talent / people analytics, and HR technology. The HR PMO / D&A team partners across all HR functional areas to ensure a data-driven approach is applied to project selection / execution and talent management opportunities.

As an HR Analytics Analyst Intern you would exhibit curiosity, analytical acumen and an operational mindset. We are looking for someone who has a background in Business / Data Analytics and demonstrates an interest in Human Resources. The ideal candidate understands the power of data and the limitations of both analytic models and human gut experience. You know that making the right decision, first requires employing strong consulting and business skills to engage leaders in framing the right questions and then presenting the data in a meaningful and insightful way.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborates with HR leaders to provide business analysis guidance and aid in scoping, planning, and executing assigned engagements.

  • Leverage HR's Data Usage Model and Actionable Insights framework to employ strong consulting skills when collaborating with leaders on workforce / talent opportunities.

  • Complete quantitative and qualitative analyses to support the objectives of assigned projects, including incorporating market and industry research and data, as appropriate.

  • Ability to communicate & present complex quantitative & qualitative analysis by telling a story with the data in a clear and practical manner.

  • Develop and complete project related deliverables with minimal supervision, including PowerPoint presentations, process workflow diagrams, status reports, project plans/timelines, meeting facilitation plans, and meeting minutes.

Key Qualifications:


  • Pursuing a BA/BS degree in Business or Data Analytics and/or Human Resources with a focus on data and reporting.

  • Ability to research, analyze, and incorporate HR industry standards and external benchmarks to solve business challenge.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required, with the ability to develop & deliver presentations that showcase data-driven recommendations and actionable insights to all levels of management.

  • Prioritization and time management skills a must, while effectively managing ambiguous situations.

  • Results oriented with a high degree of initiative and ability to act as a team player

  • Strong PC skills (e.g. MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Experience with or an understanding of the following, is a plus:

    • Knowledgeable of HR programs, Talent Management, and/or human capital management (HCM) systems

    • Project management best practices and methodologies such as, Design Thinking, Agile, Iterative, and Human-Centered Design

    • Familiarity with data analysis tools, modelling, and statistical analysis
