Primary Purpose: Responsible for the daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly, yearly production of reports deemed necessary by Administrative personnel. Will be cross-trained in both billing and scheduling to fill in any gaps during vacations, sick leave. Review reports daily and rectify all rejected charges. Perform complex audits for charge files for patients. Make careful and thorough count of previous day's cases. Reconcile patients' vital statistics. Run weekly reports. Knowledge and Skills:

Education: High school diplomas or equivalent.

Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in either OR billing, OR scheduling, or working in the OR itself.

Required Skills and Knowledge: Excellent computer and communication skills. Ability to listen carefully to understand the speaker's immediate then long-term needs, an understanding of human nature which will enable this person to deal with difficult or demanding persons in a calm and professional manner. Background in medical terminology.
