This position is part of a technical rotational program for recent college graduates to develop technical skills and get exposed to major facets of our business. The program involves three to four rotations, each with a different focus area within Quality. We are looking for XRPs in Chattanooga, TN and Novi, MI!

Responsibilities:


  • Learn to develop APQP documentation.

  • Support Measurement System Analysis (MSA) Launch plans for the Launch. Execute plans, collect data, and facilitate other gage related activity.

  • Learn to prepare and deliver new product Launch related Customer Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) packages.

  • Read and interpret blue prints and CAD renderings, verifying product compliance by utilizing various measurement tools.

  • Attend and participate in System Simultaneous Development Team (SDT) meetings as required.

  • Learn to support DV/PV builds, including verification that parts meet dimensional and functional requirements.

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Plastics Engineering - or equivalent degree.

Work Experience:


  • Previous intern or co-op work experience in automotive is a plus. 

  • Analytical and mechanical aptitude for problem solving.

  • Effective communication skills within a team environment.

  • Troubleshooting experience is highly desirable.

  • Ability to interact with all levels of people and leadership within a company. 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficient in common office software (i.e. Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
